If you are a guitar player whose names are both legendary guitar brands, you had better be able to play. Jackson has been wowing crowds with his playing since he was 13 years old, playing in front of thousands as lead guitarist for the cover band, Fishing for Saturday. The years of live shows only grew his love of playing music.
Music was a constant in Jackson’s life from a very young age, growing up in Springfield, Missouri.
Listening to a wide range of music his parents always had on in the house began to influence his style of play, and later his writing. Influenced by guitar greats such as Dwayne Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughn, David Gilmore and Brad Paisley, among others. Jackson grew up listening to, and learning different styles in different genres. “Music is one of the few things that can bring all of us together, it doesn’t matter what style or genre. There is good music across the spectrum, you just have to be willing to listen to it”
Starting guitar at 9 years old, both Jackson, and his younger brother, Preston were soon making family members smile at their quick ability to learn their instruments. Soon they both found themselves in a youth cover band that was opening for regional and national touring acts. Getting to see touring musicians up close solidified Jackson’s desire to keep working on the guitar, but that this was what he wanted to do, and those around him could see it.
But it wasn’t just family and friends, soon calls starting coming in to get Jackson on stage with other acts, in places far from Springfield.
In late 2018, Jackson started writing, and as life experiences and confidence grew, so did the quality of his writing. Songwriters such as Eric Church, Zac Brown, Roger Waters and Neil Peart provided Jackson a broad base to craft his lyrics. Working with Producer Kevin W. Gates at Reach Audio, Jackson has been able to bring his songs to life, showcasing lyrics far beyond his years, and blistering guitar work. With the help of Preston writing drums, setting up behind the kit, and lending his talent on guitar, Jackson has labored to create an album of songs that are both personal, and able to reach anyone that listens to them. Pulling on the belief that there is good music across all genres, these songs draw from all of Jackson’s influences from pop rock to gritty blues riffs and soaring guitar harmonies, combined with storytelling lyrics to leave people wanting to hear more.

With the release of "Midnight Train", Michael Stanton Armstrong takes a fresh approach to a classic genre and style. Laced with addictive melodies, an unstoppable energy, and plenty of character, the record boasts the aesthetic of blues rock anthems.
"I wrote this song a little over a year ago. At the time, I had been struggling with a bit of writer’s block and one night I decided to lock myself away and not come out until I had a solid song idea. I started to free write about getting on a train in the middle of the night with no destination, in search of inspiration. And that jumble of words turned into a song about a journey to write a song. With the destination of the journey being the song itself. It was one of those rare songs that all came together pretty effortlessly once I got started and was finished in a matter of hours." explains Michael of his single.
Hey Knuckleheads! Uncle Knuckle & The Reveal Machine will be playing their mix of original music from Ozarks artists including Supe & The Sandwiches, Wayne Carson, Mark Bilyeu, Big Smith and more - as well as some great Americana, Country and Rock & Roll.
For years, I have had the vision of assembling a "local Wrecking Crew" to accompany the recordings of my songs, with each line-up tailor-made to suit the specifics of each tune. The goal was to represent the sounds of this particular area of the Ozarks by using some of its finest players, also while reaching beyond the confines of a singular group/band of musicians to create a more diverse version of this sound.
This idea would have stayed in my head forever had it not been for @gravyboatjohnson , who graciously invited me out to his family's ranch in rural Stone County, Missouri in fall of 2020 to track some of my songs at the @humpbrellaproductions studio. What began as a simple live session quickly expanded into a full-blown studio production.
Because this started happening during a time where live shows were scarce, a lot of amazing musicians that I could've never dreamt of being involved with my music were suddenly available to contribute to it. Some sent their tracks from far-away places and some made the journey out to the ranch to track in person. Suddenly my dream was happening in real time.
After each session, I got to leave with a CD to recall our progress on the drive back home. Those CDs stacked up over the months as we worked tirelessly on these songs into the small hours of the morning, harvesting tones, riding ATVs, and having a rip-roaring good time. Working with Chad was an insurmountable delight and a total honor. He took these songs to sonic places I never could have imagined, and we never stopped having fun. I can't wait to share with you what we've been cooking up.
Pumping out the best of rock from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s! Big sound and big harmonies.

Jeff Ward - Guitar, Vocals
