I have to agree with Britta. My wife loves them and was pretty upset when she couldn’t find them. But im guessing that since Malibu is a sponsor…SOCO wont be involved.

Widening the aisles and spacing things out would be an improvement, if feasible. It didn’t seem like the space opened up on the west end has been utilized optimally in years past.

Get better spoons! After tasting so many different chilis, my lips were raw from the sharp edges of the spoons.

Better judging. While the firefighter’s booth is cool and they do a great job, I find it hard to believe that some of the other participants didn’t win ‘Best in Show’. Groups will and do become discouraged when overlooked after putting in so much effort while the firemen bring the same booth and ‘costumes’ every year. The Roller Derby booth costumes were great, and how did the Las Vegas style booth not get anything for booth or costumes? Why should they continue to put in so much effort (which makes this such a fun event) when they get no recognition? Maybe next year they should bring a firetruck?

we could not talk to or hear the people wanting to sample our chili due to the excessive volume of the bands. We had to holler in their ear to converse or wait between songs. With musicians its always about them .We had people who left early due to the excessive volume. They told us on monday at work they would not go to one again. not everyone is A headbanger. If it could be kept down till about 3 p.m. that would help. It can be easily heard and enjoyed by all without it being sooo loud. After all, its about the chili experience not the musicians.I think everything else was well planned and went very smoothly. I liked the people directing traffic and coordinating the friday night set up.I saw no bad behavior and it was A fun time.I would have them stress A get in and unload and get out theme. Many of the people that came by our booth did not realize that they had been given A voting ticket but pitched it thinking it was just a coupon or advertisement. In finale, thank you for all your work
